At Toonit, we encourage all to unleash their inner story creator and creativity through original content. We understand that information regarding intellectual property and copyright law can be difficult to understand so we will do our best to educate our community! We are continuously looking for ways to ensure the safety of the Toonit community.
According to the U.S. Copyright Office, the definition of copyright is as follows:
A form of protection provided by the laws of the United States for "original works of authorship", including literary, dramatic, musical, architectural, cartographic, choreographic, pantomimic, pictorial, graphic, sculptural, and audiovisual creations. "Copyright" literally means the right to copy but has come to mean that body of exclusive rights granted by law to copyright owners for protection of their work.
Copyright protection does not extend to any idea, procedure, process, system, title, principle, or discovery. Similarly, names, titles, short phrases, slogans, familiar symbols, mere variations of typographic ornamentation, lettering, coloring, and listings of contents or ingredients are not subject to copyright.
Any digital content that you publish on Toonit is automatically protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. So as a creator, you agree that any digital content such as assets or stories you submit is created, edited, and published by you. Therefore it is your responsibility to not infringe or violate any copyright laws or conduct any unlawful behavior. All Toonit users must submit and create original content.
At Toonit, any form of copyright infringement or violation of intellectual property rights of others is prohibited on the platform. You may not steal or distribute others digital content without the permission of the original user. If any digital content is reported to Toonit and infringes on copyright laws, we have the permission to delete and remove it immediately without notice or liability. To report any published works, email us at [email protected] with the following information. In addition, we recommend that you read over our community guidelines to understand what content may not be shared on Toonit.
By using Toonit, you acknowledge and agree that any content that is created through Toonit is the sole property of Toonit and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your digital content may only be accessed for your personal and non-commercial use only. In addition, Toonit has exclusive ownership of the platform and any content that is associated therewith.
You have no right to provide any files obtained through Toonit to any other party and not allowed to duplicate or reproduce any of the content.
Toonit is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions. This means that you are not granted any rights or license to patents, copyrights, trade secrets or trademarks associated with Toonit. You may not copy, reproduce, transfer or access (except as expressly authorized by this Agreement), re-license, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, translate, publish, transmit, distribute, display, broadcast, re-broadcast, redistribute, modify, create derivative works from, capture or store in any physical media, market, rent, sell, lease, sublicense, or participate in any sale of or exploit in any way, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, Toonit or any of our related software.
